MediaOne 3.2 Announcement
Starcut Software Launches a New Version of its Award-Winning MediaOne Mobile Publishing Solution
Now Enabling Mobile Apps Development and Highly Personalized Mobile Web Experiences
Espoo – August 20, 2010
Starcut Software Ltd., a leading mobile publishing solution provider for media and entertainment, today announces version 3.2. of its award winning MediaOne product.
MediaOne mobile publishing solution is currently used by prominent media and entertainment companies for publishing of superior consumer experiences that are media rich, location-specific, and interactive. It enables easy development of mobile sites based on existing content feeds and content management systems (CMS), and it optimizes the sites for all mobile devices and platforms in the market. No manual publishing work is needed after the sites have been launched.
MediaOne has easy-to-use online tools to manage anything from simple landing pages to a large number of advanced portals, and it supports multiple revenue options such as advertising, premium fees and mobile commerce. A cloud-based architecture makes it a cost efficient for low-traffic sites, but it can efficiently handle tens of millions of monthly page views.
The latest version of MediaOne comes with several improvements, such as:
- Publishers can easily create mobile apps in addition to mobile web sites and publish their content to both applications and browsers with minimum effort to them.
- Publishers can now let consumers personalize the services, for example choosing which sections they want to have in their mobile newspaper.
- MediaOne user interface has gone through major usability improvements to make it even more intuitive, for example with its drag-and-drop tools, to build mobile web sites and apps.
The first installations of MediaOne 3.2 are currently being deployed to our customers.
"Starcut Software is a leader in enabling great consumer experiences across all mobile devices and platforms with minimum effort to our customers. As mobile browsers and apps will both be used to access content and services, it is becoming increasingly important for publishers to efficiently manage these two channels with one tool. In addition, MediaOne 3.2 helps our customers be even more relevant to their consumers", says Tommi Mustonen, CEO, Starcut Software Ltd.
